Training Expertise

Tim and Jo Anne Harris, owners of Rug-ged Retrievers, each have 25 years experience training, competing, and breeding dogs.  We have trained dozens of dogs at every level of Hunt Test and Field Trials, including over 20 Master Hunter titled retrievers, many Master National Finalists and Qualified All Age Retrievers.

We do all of the training, and we guarantee you that you and your dog will never be passed off to an assistant who may or may not be here the next time you come to visit or work with your dog.

Building a strong relationship with you and your dog are key factors to continued success.  As the owners and trainers we have a vested interest in your continued success.  The care of your dogs, helping you achieve your goals, and paying attention to the details are our top priorities.
